Spy versus spy: Bur6erry trench coat revealed

I already wore it and love it. To my great surprise, even though it's lined only with a thin, non-insulating lining, it kept me warm even in fairly cool temps earlier this week, I think because of its double layer water- and wind-proof cotton twill.  It's sure to become a great inter-season topper.

The lovely striped lining!
Can you tell I'm pleased?  Especially with my new boots.  :)

I'll post some construction details later.

  3. You look spectacular! Love the hat! Love the coat! Nice to see that somewhere in Ontario there is some snow. (Not that I'm complaining - haven't had to clean the driveway yet this year.)

  4. Super coat! You did a fantastic job on Frankenpatterning. That doesn't always work out so well, but you've managed it. Matching hat is fabulous, as are your boots!

  7. That's a job well done! You look fantastic.

It's good to know you've found the double-layer fabric to provide some warmth. Your finished photos may just motivate me to pull out some trench patterns next week and finally get started.

Looking forward to more construction info, too.
