They don't look too loose at all. But for a more traditional jean, maybe you would prefer a closer fit.Gretchen the Household Deityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16882578423517346342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7082508943536670709.post-40089684532459918182010-03-28T21:39:19.163-04:002010-03-28T21:39:19.163-04:00Ladies, I'm ever so grateful for the positive ...Ladies, I'm ever so grateful for the positive comments, much, much thanks! BUT: this garment isn't going to shrink any, I'm afraid: the fabric, before having been cut, already survived a cold wash/hot dry/hot wash/hot dry: any shrinkage that was going to happen already HAS. Well, I've been moping in front of a mirror or two, and think that the solution is to pinch another 2 cm out of CF - ie, tip the zipper - but only the next time. I'll let my garden suffer this iteration as is.Digshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09146986269769790807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7082508943536670709.post-52790781791129318422010-03-28T21:20:20.764-04:002010-03-28T21:20:20.764-04:00They look great! I'd still be staring at the tissue, I'm afraid.KayYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09965798068172494708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7082508943536670709.post-62262814086208118592010-03-28T16:52:40.824-04:002010-03-28T16:52:40.824-04:00Wow, I am impressed with the fit. I wish I could give some advice, but I have never ever made a pair of jeans, nor a pair of well fitting pants. I think you did a great job. Hopefully you will get some good advice for tweaking the fit but they look good to me.Linda Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12655695696943452993noreply@blogger.com
