Postponed: Another roll of the dice: Vogue 2900

I've had V 2900 for a while: long enough to have cut out all the pieces, lose the two skirt pieces, and completely forget how I managed to do that.

Now, thanks to the great generosity of BeeBee, another sewista from Stitcher's Guild, the forum to which I turned for help with re-creating the two AWOL pieces, I find myself in the posession of two copies of V2900 -  one of which, of course, is the pristine uncut pattern BeeBee had sent me, which I unfolded, ironed to smooth out the wrinkles, and used to re-create my two missing pieces.  It's clean, unmarked, uncut - and looking for a new home.  Size 12-14-16, and you could certainly grade it down or up one size without much trouble.

The pattern gives you the option of straight-grain or bias dress (think of the challenge!),the bodice has some lovely interesting seaming, and the pattern's been reviewed 12 times already, with some really charming results.

Come on, you know you want this frock.  Post a comment here, and you might score a gift from Lady Luck herself.  Just in time for summer sewing, too ;)

ETA:  clearly, my sense of humour kinda fell flat on this one; I'll therefore re-offer it when summer sewing really IS on everyone's minds...

  1. Well, I don't know if I'm early or late. Either way, I would love this pattern.
